Olympic gold medalist, entrepreneur and Commissioner for Active Travel England, Chris Boardman is our single most influential voice promoting cycling and walking nationally. His clear communication and passionate advocacy have brought rationality and humanity to a debate often characterised by misinformation and hostility. He says "The bicycle has the power to change a world if we create an environment where people feel able to trundle to shops, schools and workplaces under their own steam. My enduring mission is to help make that happen."

Ned Boulting, is the UK's finest cycling commentator and author of many exceptional cycling books, including How I Won the Yellow Jumper and his latest masterpiece 1923.

Join us at Herne Hill Velodrome for an evening of lively discussion and to hear from Chris, about Active Travel England's plans for the future, followed by a conversation with Ned Boulting, and questions from the audience.
