Friday 3 May - 7.15pm - Giro d'Italia Wine Tasting Evening

Join us on Friday 3 May for a very special event in the clubroom to taste the wines of the Giro d’Italia!

We’ll be taking you on a tour of the stages with wine expert Tom Gilbey on hand to tell us about the wines of the regions the peloton will pass. Herne Hill’s very own Iain Cook will be giving his racing predictions as we stop off to discover the flavours of Italy.

We’ll be running a prize competition on the night: you guess the general classification, or those who stand on the final podium in one of the prized Maglia to be in with a chance to win a case, or magnum of specialist Italian wine selected by Tom.

Wines will be accompanied with regional snacks and there will be a selection of bottles to buy on the day.

Tickets £10 including wine and snacks.

Doors at 7.15pm, with welcome drink, tasting from 7.30pm.
